Accessibility statement

# Making this website easy to use

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, magnifiers or a keyboard. This statement explains how we're doing and how to get help. Prepared 8 November 2026.

## What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have checked the site ourselves; it has not yet been independently audited. We do our best to:

- use body text of 16 pixels or larger, with good contrast
- give every meaningful image a text description
- label every form field, and make forms usable with a keyboard
- avoid pop-ups and anything that moves on its own
- make pages work on phones and when zoomed to 200%

## Known issues

- Some headings sit on top of photographs. We darken the photos to keep the text readable, but contrast may vary on some screens.
- Some property documents, such as floor plans and certificates, are PDFs or images that may not work well with screen readers. Ask us and we'll describe them or send them in another format.
- The video walkthrough of 42 Bury Green Road has no captions or audio description yet.

## Getting information in another format
